Abstract

SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) is a fundamental topic in robotics, enabling one or more robots to create a map of their environment and localize themselves within it. My research focuses on securing Swarm-SLAM, a state-of-the-art collaborative SLAM system, against malicious or faulty robots that may inject false information, potentially leading to corrupted maps or inaccurate pose estimations. This is achieved by leveraging blockchain technology—a decentralized and tamper-resistant digital ledger that guarantees data integrity and trustworthiness.
