I have recently begun a new position as the Director of Research and Conservation for the Mara Elephant Project (MEP), a Kenya-based NGO. I will remain physically based in Konstanz and am eager to discuss potential collaborative directions with the research communities here. To this end, I’ll give a brief overview of MEP and its current use of drones for elephant conservation, as well as some of the other research projects I’m carrying forward in my new role.
