 n as the Director of Research and Conservation for the Mara Elephant Proje
 ct (MEP)\, a Kenya-based NGO. I will remain physically based in Konstanz a
 nd am eager to discuss potential collaborative directions with the researc
 h communities here. To this end\, I’ll give a brief overview of MEP and 
 its current use of drones for elephant conservation\, as well as some of t
 he other research projects I’m carrying forward in my new role.
